The Bat! Voyager

Nowadays, more and more people use emails to communicate to each other and exchange files. Even though there are a lot of email services on the market, only some of them allow accessing the mailbox using a web-based interface. And even in case they do, there are some web services that are really difficult to use and not so reliable, offering an unlimited amount of features. One should turn to 3rd party email software in order to benefit the most from an email account. MS Outlook is the most known application in this case. But despite its popularity, the software isn't actually the best. It has some downsides, like the fact that it's expensive, resources hungry and needs time to get used to.

The Bat! Voyager is an email software that can be used by beginners, as well as advanced users at the same time, having the same features as Outlook, but being free and taking up less system resources. The Bat! Voyager is a Windows application that works best on Windows 7, but can also be used on XP or 2000 as well.

This program is different from other programs because of the fact that it can be protected with a password, for not allowing unauthorized users to temper with the settings. After the simple installation process is over, one will be asked to enter a password for protecting the application. Without this application, no one will be able to access The Bat! Voyager. This means a greater amount of security than using any other email client.

There is not much to say about the interface of The Bat! Voyager, just the fact that it offers exactly what a user would want. There are no useless features, no complicated options, as everything is nice and clear. The user can start using the program by configuring his email account. Basically, only the email address and password should be entered and The Bat! Voyager will automatically find the mail server settings. If it doesn't, it allows entering them manually.

After having configured the email account, one can move on to importing all his messages into the application. Using a single mouse click, the list of messages will quickly be populated and clicking on any of the messages will display a preview of it in the lower part of the interface. For making it easier to send new emails, the program features an address book, where the user can store all his contacts, having complete information regarding each of them. Thus, he will be able to quickly find a recipient for a new message. Speaking about this feature, messages can be created using various text editing tools that are similar to the ones found in a text editor.

Besides dealing with emails, The Bat! Voyager also includes a notepad, for writing anything that comes through your mind, and a scheduler, for organizing certain tasks and events.
